Your child loves to create.
Here's where that belongs.
Art classes for kids ages 3-13 in North Brunswick, NJ.
Where a lifelong love for creating begins.
Got a creative child at home? You've probably seen how they get totally lost in art,
like the world around them disappears!
It's their special zone where they can soothe themselves, process emotions,
and learn to problem-solve.
Whether you have a three-year-old who loves the joy of messy finger paint, a 7-year-old who finds painting and sculpting relaxing, or a young teen with a true love for art,
This is the place for them.
Here, your child can express who they truly are in a creative environment, leaving the mess in the studio and taking home beautiful works of art that reflect their personality and their new discoveries.

Our goal is to create a warm, supportive space where young artists feel at ease while they explore a
nd create with confidence!
-
Our younger kids' classes are thoughtfully designed and structured to be perfect for this age group. We understand the importance of keeping their curious minds engaged and excited. That's why our classes are dynamic and filled with fun activities. We read captivating books that inspire their creativity, encourage playful exploration, and always keep them on the move with hands-on art projects.
-
We believe in a balance between structure and creative freedom.
Every class has a guided project with instruction and technique - but always with room for each child's own choices, ideas and personality. We introduce new materials, techniques and artists every semester, giving children real artistic skills and knowledge.
Within that structure, every child gets to make their own creative decisions. There's no template everyone follows. No "right" way for a project to look at the end. Each child's artwork reflects their own ideas, personality and choices - not a copy of everyone else's.
We believe the best skills a child gains in art class aren't always visible in the final artwork. Confidence. Creative thinking. The ability to try something, not love it, and try again. These are the things that stay with a child long after the paint dries.

Why Families Love Our Studio
“We love doing art with Ilana! The classes are fun, intelligent and designed to encourage creativity. Super chill, no pressure to "succeed", just enjoy the process. My daughter started going at three, and it is her favourite part of the week!”
— Anna V.
“My daughter Vivian has been attending art class with Ms. Ilana for a few years now and she absolutely loves it!!! Ilana is so creative and in-tune with what children need to learn and thrive in a creative space. It is a different perspective than what is offered in school which is more restrictive. She is thoughtful, kind and each lesson has a purpose and meaning. The projects are fun, topical and age appropriate. Highly recommend!!”
— Diana A.
“This place deserves 10 stars! My children are so happy every time they go. Ilana and her team are fantastic, creative and supportive. My kids love going so much that we hosted a birthday party at the studio. All the kids (and parents) were thrilled with the party! It was such a sweet and joyful day. Ilana is a pleasure to work with, the prices are reasonable and the entire process was easy. Thank you for everything, Ilana!”
— Mollie M.
“My daughter aspires to pursue a few of her passions when she grows up, and one of them, is to be just like Ms Ilana (a mom, an artist, and a teacher). We love the warm, welcoming, and creative space Ms. Ilana and her assistants foster for her students.”
— Court G.
“I can't say enough good things about this super cozy art studio! My 8 year old absolutely loves going to her art class each week! The vibe here is wonderful, Ilana and her staff are awesome! I'm always excited to see what they create next!”
— Melissa D.
“My 6 year old loves Ilana's studio, and I do too! As a family with an art background some of the projects generally put in front of kids are so 'paint by numbers', do this, make it look like this at the end. Ilana is different! she inspires the kids with creative prompts - showing them art from the greats, and provides ideas which allow the kids to enjoy the process without constraint. The final results are great. I'm currently buying frames to show off some of the pieces from my son's time in the class.”
— Elizabeth K.
Meet Ilana
Hi, I'm Ilana.
If you have a child who lights up around art supplies, who draws at home for hours, who sees a cardboard box and immediately starts planning what to make with it - this studio was built for them.
I know what it feels like when a child has a passion and a place to take it. I was that child. Growing up in a small town in Israel, I was lucky to have one art studio - and going there changed everything for me. It built my confidence. It shaped who I am today as an artist and an educator.
I built this studio because every child deserves a place like that.
As a mom of four - each one completely different, each one with their own personality - I've learned to truly see every child as an individual and understand their inner world.
This is that place. A place where your child's ideas are celebrated. Where there's no right or wrong answer. Where your child can get so lost in what they're making that the world around them disappears - and where they walk away holding something that is completely, beautifully theirs.
That moment when a child looks at what they made and says - "I made this" - is everything. And it's what drives every class, every project and every decision we make here.
I'd love for your child to be part of this.
